Abandoned Property Ordinance
This ordinance defines nuisances and abatement measures the Town can use for properties that are abandoned by definition in the ordinance.
Animal Control Ordinance
The Town requires registration of all dogs and cats for the public health safety of tracking current rabies vaccinations.
The Town does not have a leash law.
Chickens and roosters are NOT permitted in Trent Woods.

Burning Ordinance
Open burning generally prohibited; exceptions
Only yard debris may be burned in the Town of Trent Woods and that is only on certain days and times. Burning of yard debris may be done on Tuesday, Thursday, and the first full weekend and the third weekend of each calendar month from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. The fire cannot be added to or increased after 6:00 pm. All embers must be completely extinguished by 10:00 pm. (For the purposes of this Ordinance, "weekend" refers to a consecutive Saturday and Sunday)

Golf Cart Ordinance
Golf Carts are able to be operated on a public street within the Town limits.
The Golf Cart must be inspected by the Town Police Department and a license plate will be issued for placement on the front of the golf cart.
The cost of the registration is $25.00.
The inspection is required to be renewed annually. The cost of the renewal is $25.

Junked Car Ordinance
This ordinance regulates and provides for the removal of abandoned, nuisance, and junked motor vehicles.
Noise Ordinance
Please be mindful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm-7:00am. All other questions can be answered by our Trent Woods Police Department at 252-637-3030.
Open Areas Ordinance
This ordinance regulates the Town's "Park" areas providing rules & regulations.
Parking Ordinance
All four wheels must be off of the traveled portion of the roadway when parking a vehicle in the right of way of any street in the Town. For more information regarding this ordinance see the full Parking Ordinance or contact the Trent Woods Police Department at 252-637-3030.
Sewer Ordinance
This ordinance specifies when a residence in the Town must hook up to the available sewer line.
Solicitation Ordinance
The Town of Trent Woods does not allow door to door solicitation within our corporate limits.
Subdivision Ordinance
